Comprehensive Economic Development Strategies (CEDS)

Sponsored by the Economic Development Administration, the CEDS process builds a stronger, more diverse regional economy by creating active strategies for change within a regional economic development framework.  A CEDS plan helps state and federal agencies evaluate funding requests for local planning, infrastructure, workforce development activities, and other purposes. CGS assists regional planning authorities in various aspects of CEDS development and updating, and has as well as researching best practices.
