The Center for Governmental Studies (CGS), at its core, is about building capacity in our region and developing partnerships with external organizations and partners.
CGS partnerships are mutually beneficial: we exchange information, share resources and explore shared vision. Through these relationships, we connect the region, contribute innovative practices, inform policy makers and educate regional leaders. Our partnerships also add value to both the research and engagement mission of Northern Illinois University.
