Alexandra "Alex" Galindo

Alex Galindo joined the Center for Governmental Studies in 2010 as a research specialist on the Association Management team. She maintains all finances for the Illinois City/County Management Association (ILCMA) and its affiliates, as well as the Wisconsin City/County Manager Association (WCMA), Illinois Local Government Lawyers Association (ILGL), and the Ely Chapter of Lambda Alpha International. She also helps to manage and assist in the coordination of multiple associations’ programs and activities with the goal of fostering member growth and development and maintaining member satisfaction.

Prior to joining CGS, Alex provided program support to a graduate program at Northern Illinois University. Prior to joining NIU, Alex was the staff accountant at Resource Bank, N.A. Alex earned a B.S. in business administration from Northern Illinois University.
