Candace Dickerson

Candace Dickerson, M.Ed., joined the Center for Governmental Studies in March of 2021. Previously, she was an apprenticeship specialist at Prairie State College (located in the south suburbs of Chicago). She has a strong background in workforce development and working with special populations, including the underrepresented/underserved, out-of-school youth, minorities and first-generation college students. At CGS, her work concentrates on workforce development policy and practice with a focus on apprenticeships and pre-apprenticeship programs.

Candace has earned a Master of Science degree in Higher Education-Administration and Leadership and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Louisiana State University.
