Paula Freeze

Paula Freeze, M.U.P.P., started with CGS in January 2017. Prior to that, she was employed as an urban planner with the city of Chicago, Knight Engineers & Architects, Metra and as a self-employed consultant. At the Center for Governmental Studies, Paula works with the Association Management and the Community and Economic Development teams. Through CGS, she serves as the executive director of the American Planning Association - Illinois Chapter (APA-IL), a statewide professional association for urban planners with over 1,500 members. Paula holds a B.A. in urban and regional planning from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Urban Planning and Public Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
